This posting is specifically for some of my clients who want a domain name (custom website) but not the technical steps of building a custom website (domain) from scratch.

Blink is the middle ground between having individual websites and a domain / custom website. With Blink you can place multiple websites on one domain website using Blink (free) services. Here’s how.

Step 1
Go to www.BlinkWeb.com & register for a new account

Step 2
Click on home & than Create A New Site

What kind of website do you want to create?
Step 4
Create a title for your website












After you click Next you will see this window














Than a new window will pop up and a video will give you basic How To instructions





Step 5
Add your personal content to the website







Step 6
To create a link, click on the green globe like ball on the toolbar. This will bring up a new window. In that window click on website. Enter the www address and click on OK.













Step 7
When you are done click on Save & Review.
The first time you do this you will see this window

• Choose Option 1 if you want a free website
• Choose Option 2 ONLY if you want a custom domain name that IS NOT free.
• Option 3 will download your website to your computer.

Choose a subdomain.

What is a subdomain?
A subdomain is an easy way to create a memorable Web site using an existing domain.

Example

Existing domain is www . blinkweb . com
Subdomain is www.cooking.example.com

After clicking Next you will see this
